Today I will speak about my experience with the English course.

I am very glad to learn more English ,  this is my third course of English in the university , and I learn a lot of things, for example: two semester ago , I can read in English, but I was awful to listen in English and worse in pronunciation , and thanks to the English course,  I am better today.

I believe this course is well planned, manage the students loose the fear to talk and write in English. The use of blogs is a very important tool, because  promote the use of on-line dictionaries , increase the vocabulary and the students can correct their mistakes.

In my personal case, learn English help me a lot this year, because I am a football couch in my American football team and all of information, playbooks, strategies and manuals of football are in English.

I realized my English is better when I had a football coaches training camp the last month , I have a North American football coach as a teacher, mister Daryl Hayes and he speak only in English. I was very nervous to talk with a native English speaker, I really did not want to talk with he, but I think “well, in the worst of cases, he don’t understand me “but for my surprise, I can speak with he, and he understand almost all of things I said. Was a very good experience.

This is my experience with this English course, I am very thankful to the teacher Lourdes , is a excellent teacher and always is ready to respond all of English questions .

my career study program.

Hi bloggers! Today I will speak about my career study program.

I think the study program in agronomics engineering needs a lot of changes.  First is very hard finish the career en five years, because if  you fail only one course ,  almost sure you can`t recover  on time because the schedules are very strict, order courses of different years are impossible. Ok, one more year isn’t terrible ,  but if fail two courses? Or more? This is the real problem.

The knowledge in the courses are very good, I think is very complete, we have courses of basic sciences, of soils, fertilization, watering irrigation, plagues , animals, economics sciences, etc..  But the problem is the point of view of the teachers. Some teachers only want memorize terms, and evaluate only memory.  My opinion is the teachers must evaluate real learning, not only memory.  For example,  probably you pass a course if you memorize all of things , but you don’t learn nothing! However if you learn and understand the concepts , you pass the course (most of the time).

Another thing that make me angry about the teachers is the interest of teach. Some teacher only pass a power point, read some things in the power point, and this was the class… is very discourages.

The infrastructure and use of technology are very good, Study in the University of Chile is a very good experience, the problem is:  are a lot of excellent scientist and professionals, but  very few good teachers.

summer holidays!

Hi bloggers! Today I will speak about my summer holidays!

This year will be especial for my family, because we will travel in February to brazil. This travel probably will be the last for us, the next year I finish the career, and my brothers just work today, them, the most certain is that in the next years each of us will stop living in the family home.

I am very exciting for travel to brazil, will be my first travel in airplane, but the most exciting is my mom, because she lived in brazil since she was 2 years old to 15 years old. Today she is 50 year-old, that is 35 years since she arrived to Chile… a lot of time for return.

The travel will be like this: first we will arrive to rio , and we will know the places where my mother grew up (this is the bored of the travel , because is one week travel cities and non-touristic places). Later, we travel from rio to the north, for now the beaches and touristic places.

My summer holidays begin the 15 of January (if  I don’t have exams), I want to rest all January,  I like to stay in my house, play videogames, and stay with my girlfriend. Maybe travel with my girlfriend to viña del mar and stay a few days here, and a don’t have more plans for my vacations jajaja

Medicinal Plants

Hi Bloggers! today a will talk about medicinal plant

i will be very assertive in this subject , because I think the “medicinal plants” doesn’t  be a  real medicine.

I narrate my experience with the “medicinal plants”. My mom is vegetarian, and she only eat organics foods … I don’t have a problem with these,  sincerely,  I liked my mom care herself, because she have problem with the  thyroid gland, and other problems,  but the problem was when she leave the  common medicine, this is the problem (I think, in my opinion). First a “natural doctor” recommended stop to take the common medication for the problem of tyroid gland (eutirox) , becasuse according to him, she can treat her problem with “medicinal plant” and homeopathy. “Ok” mi father, my brother and me  think “ maybe  this work”,  But no.

After a month, my mom had a crisis, she faint a lot of times, and the family  carry it at the REAL DOCTOR .  very bad experience with the homeopaty and medicinal plants.

I said, I don believe  the medicinal plant be a real medicine, but, I think is a good  COMPLEMENT , and maybe can help  few problems, for example for a headache , or stomachache, but the real problems as a hormonal problem, cardiac problem, need a conventional medicine.

 I didn’t want talked about  the “agronomist opinion”  , because I think the experience is more important.

Post 6 : Postgraduate Studies

Hi Bloggers! today a will talk about postgraduate studies

First, i am in the 4th year of the career , and i don't considerate the option of posgraduate studies. why? ufff many reason, i explain little by little.

I ingress at the university for study agricultural engineering after study two years enginering common plan in the University of Chile, so when I ingress at Antumapu i was 20 years old,  therefore i will graduate when i will be 26 years old (because i frozen one year in the career

Ok, 26 years old isn't a lot of years, but if i take a postgraduate program, i will graduate with 28 years if take me two years,  i will graduate with 30 years if the program is 4 years. Is complicated, because I want to work soon, My younger brothers work today, and I don't want to depend of my parents more time.

Also, i want to make my own business, i want to buy a piece of land and work, cultivate fruit tree, or anual crops, depend of the region on the i will work. the postgraduates studies don't be in my life-plan

These are my reason about why a don't take a postgraduate studies, but i think a postgraduates studies is a big tool for find work today, because the work market is very competitive

Hi bloggers!  Today I have to talk about a free topic, and i choose Batman

First, i collect comics since i was 15 years old, i have a lot of comics, from various superheros like superman, batman, green lantern, captain america, iron man etc... my favorites comics are batman's comics , i have over 300 comics of batman, the most in Spanish but i have some comics in English, and these are the most valuable in my collection. 

Batman is my favorite hero because a lot of reason: first, he doesn't have superpowers, but he was trained in a lot of disciplines like as martial arts, forensic sciences, detective habilites, computer sciences etc... is a simple human, very smart (with a lot of money )but a simple smart human.

Second: the histories of batman, show the society vicious whit the enemy's, for example, the joker represent the chaos and the crazy on Gotham City (city where live batman), the riddle represent the obsessive on the society, the penguin represent the mafia and drugs in the society. is a very complex analysis of the current society

Thirst: He doesn't work alone, he have a bat family. the people only knows batman and robin and maybe batgirl, but batman has been a lot of sidekicks: 4 robin, 3 bat-girl , 1 bat woman etc... and this is my favorite theme about batman, he history of different robins, for example, the firs robin, is Dick Grayson,  and he grow for to be "Nightwing", a hero independent of batman, the second robin is Jason Tood, he died in the 80 the a comics "the family dies" but in the 2006 he resurrect and find revenge from the joker, (because the joker kill him) and take the name of "RedHood", a antihero, like a batman, but he kill the enemies , whit two big guns.

 i can talk hours about batman, but in this post i must use 200 words 

maybe in other post can tell us what happens with the other robins ( one o these is son of batman)

The best concert I have attended

Hi bloggers!  Today I will talk about the best concert I have attended.

The best concert I have attended was the Caviahue folk metal fest in 2011. Why? My band “Barbarian” played in that fest whit other Chilean metal bands as a Runepath, Folkheim, Paghania, Tersivel etc.

That concert was a greatest event on my life, I could share stage whit my favorite Chilean bands! Think this, I could meet personally my favorite’s bands, talk whit they, share some drinks. was awesome!

The best moment in this fest was when I met Tersivel behind the stage; Tersivel is one of my favorite’s bands. I was very nervous but I could talk whit they and take it various pictures.

The fest started at the 6 pm and finish at the 3 am, I was exhausted but happy for meet a lot of people, fans, people the other bands etc.

My band played only 30 minutes, and we played 6 songs, but the people knew the lirics of ours songs  and this was very emotional .

Country that i like to visit !

  I return to take the english course this semester! so i continue write in this blog :)

 Today i will talk about a country that i like to visit,

 I have a long list with the countrys which i expect to visit when i finish the carrer, the fisrt of them is Finland. Why Finland? because is a country with a better levels of education in the world, also they have a rich musical culture (in the heavy metal and  power metal style ).

Russia is other country which i like to visit, Their history an culture are amazing: the history of the russian revolution, the sovietic union, the espacial carrer, i like that very much .

I like to travel to EEUU only for one reason: American football( i was talk in others post about how i play american football in Chile ). One of my biggest drams is travel to Minnesota,for visit the U.S Bank estadium, home of the Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Vikings is my favorite team of national football league (nfl) i am very fan (really, very fan) i even miss a match,

These are the 3 countrys wicht i like to visit in the future, and i hope to travel any day

Evaluation of blog experience

Hi bloggers! this is the last post :C

ufff i considered this a great experience for practice my English., i learn a lot of things, i think my English is better now . i know, my English still being very bad, is hard to me conjugate verb in past and choose the better words and verb when i speak, but i am better in English step by step.

In the future or the next curse of English i would like to practice my listening abilities, really, i dont understand nothing when i listening a convertation in english at the normal velocity.

For my part , i will study grammar rules and verbs, because i want speak English before the end of my career, therefore i left only 3 semester for learn and practice my abilities.

Hi bloggers! Today, I will talk about pets, it is a theme that I like very much! Let’s begin!

I have had a lot of pets in my life, since I was child I have had cats, dogs, hedgehogs, gerbils and hamsters, but we go in order.

All in my family love the cats, always we had 3 cats minimum, even we had 11 cats in my house ( when I was say “all in my family love the cats”, I was said the truth jajajaj) but today we have 4 cats, their names are :” Pinky” (my sister´s cat),  “Chipita” (my mother´s cat) , “Peludita “ (my younger brother´s cat) and “ Vasily a.k.a. “Peludito” (My cat, he sleep with me and wake me up all day , he is adorable <3 )

Also I have a dog, his name is “Vladimir Branislav Popof” I founded in the street when he was a puppy , he seems German shepherd  and is a very hyperactive.

I had some years ago a hedgehog and 3 gerbils, their names were “Dimitri” and “Igor”,” Svetlana” and Mikhail”. I always put my pets Russian names, i dont know realy, but it's a habit jajaja

Animal Produccion

I have 8 subject this semester, including English, all very fun and complex, but my favorite subject this semester is Animal production, and this is a surprise for me, because animal production was the specialty that I was interested less when I entered at the career.

 I thought the agronomy is only crops and fruits, and animal production is matter of veterinary sciences, but in the subject I discover a world of possibilities , for example the various food-producing animals, such as cows (for meat and milk) sheep, pigs, chickens fish etc .. and each animal has a own production system which differs from all others.

I was not interested in animal production because I thought it was cruel to an animal considered as an element of production, but understood that production can be ethical and sustainable if one is a good farmer, for example, one of the issues study  is a animal welfare, which is not only important because it is ethical, but because a happy and healthy animal produces more and better and also because there are laws requiring an ethical treatment.

MUSIC

Today I will talk about music. UFF for me is a very very important theme. why? because since i was child i like to play a lot of  instruments, guitar, flute, piano, cello, etc. therefore i like a lot tipes of music, and i play diferent types of music. i could talk all day about music, but in this occasion i like to talk about rock and metal. 

i begin to listening rock and metal in the middle school with a group of classmates., the first band we listening was "mago de oz" ,a spanish rock band. 

the metal is not understood for most people, and a lot of people says "is only noise sounds" this really make me angry , why? because i think the music is as a food. we can training sense of taste, probably the most people dont like a complex plate of  seafood , but  a trained palate can taste of different compounds of the plate. the music is the same. a not trained ear can only hear noise sound, but a trained ear, as a musician, can differentiate the different rhythms and melodies.

Hello bloggers, I am going to talk about a photograph i like

 i dont like very much to take me  photographs because I am not a photogenic person, but this photograph means a lot of things for me.

this photograph was taken in the last match of my team,Templarios de la Reina, in the "Aldea del Encuentro" estadium in the municipality of La Reina, and that match was the first win in the history of the team (the team was created in 2013). i am very proud of this because this reflected all hard work in weeks and months, training the players (because i am the defensive coach and player) making plays and make a good strategy for the match.

the team in this photograph was entering in the field, i was going up the stairs ahead of team, very nervous, with a lot of adrenalin in my veins, but i trusted in my teammates and they trusted me and in my work and this was the key of the match, the trust in the hard work in the trainings and in the teamwork.

I am talk about food!

Hello bloggers, I am talk about food,

 For me, is a very important theme, because I am very good for eat since my childhood, and always I have been fighting whit my overweight. For a long time, I was very fat, weighing more than 100 kg because I eat a lot of fast-food, don’t make exercise and don’t eat vegetables, but today I learn to eat healthy and in order, I keep eating fast food (I love McDonald’ Quarter Pounder) however, less than before, also, I learn to cook, therefore I can make food delicious and healthy and according to my nutritional requirements  (it’s a very important , because I make a lot of exercise so I need a lot of protein). I eat a lot of chicken , egg and tuna, and I like so much the milk, so much so that I drink almost a liter a day.

my favourite piece of technology

Is a very difficult question, because i am using the technology all day in different areas. I think my favorite device would the phone, for this reasons: is as a little computer whith a lot tools, is a music player, a clock, a calendar, an address book, calculator etc. but is not only that, whith mobile internet is more helpful. The phone let me see u-cursos, cheek my mail, see videos in youtube, and know how and where to take bus.  What would life be like without it? Uff very hard, because is a communicative tool, i used for communicate with my family, friends, my team etc. definitely without the phone my life would be very boring, and slow, because the phone saves me a lot of time, a let me be connected whit all of thing I do in the university, family and my team.

Why did you choose your career?

Hi everyone’s, sorry for don’t post lasts weeks, my fault: c I am going to talk about my career, agronomy, and the reasons for choose that. Is a long history, let’s go: first, I was studied other career, engineering in the university of Chile, the same university which actually I studding. I was very boring and sad before two years studding engineering, that career was not for me, I am a logical and mathematical person, but I love biology, and the science in general. So i discover in the agronomy a science very complete, whit a lot of areas, as chemist, physics, biology, mathematics, ecology, statistics, economy, sol sciences, atmospheric sciences etc.… I can talk all of day if I wish, because I love agronomy. in the summary, I choose this career because involve a lot of science, in a lot of areas.
